I've never been a fan of them, or got their appeal... They’re extremely uncomfortable, super gross polyester leg suffocation tubes, somehow both slimy and scratchy. I prefer baggy clothes in general. Tight clothes trigger my sensory issues and body dysphoria.

That said, I find all these body-shaming comments in this thread disgusting and disturbing... What's even more saddening is that there are women participating, especially knowing that society can just as easily do the same thing to them, if they ever happen to gain weight, due to medical or personal reasons; they should be more sensitive to such issues.

This is one of the cases, where the Anonymous feature can come in handy; expressing your opinion without fear of being pelted by those, who don't agree with you

Leggings aren't pants, so it's better to wear something over them. With a dress or skirt they'd be just fine. But it's weird if you wear them like you would with jeans. If anything, I think the cops or security officers would stop you a lot of times in public because it looks like you're going around half-naked instead of clothed.

I see them similar to tights except they don't have the feet and aren't so transparent. They're ugly and boring af. Of course on those women it wouldn't really matter what they wore. Leggings should be colorful and monotone so as not to interrupt the girls shape. Leopard print is an example of what I'm talking about , it does for the woman what it does for the leopard, it hides her.
