Girls, Do you think this is too gaudy or overdone?

I know chunky jewelry is in style. I have some but didn't want to over do it. Is it too much if I put a chunky necklace with a gold and silver bangles that are stacked?

I remember reviewing a nice outfit with my cousin one time and I do not remember the context but he told me not to buy the outfit cause it looked too dynamic and made me look like somebody who liked to show off. I used to like a guy who I met somewhere and I will not mention the location right now but when I was trying to decide what to wear knowing I would talk to him or run into him that day, I went for subdued beauty in my clothing choices as opposed to a dramatic and extreme appearance.
