I know chunky jewelry is in style. I have some but didn't want to over do it. Is it too much if I put a chunky necklace with a gold and silver bangles that are stacked?

I remember reviewing a nice outfit with my cousin one time and I do not remember the context but he told me not to buy the outfit cause it looked too dynamic and made me look like somebody who liked to show off. I used to like a guy who I met somewhere and I will not mention the location right now but when I was trying to decide what to wear knowing I would talk to him or run into him that day, I went for subdued beauty in my clothing choices as opposed to a dramatic and extreme appearance.
You could definitely pull off a heavy necklace and bangle or bracelet, but I’d suggest keeping the dress simple—avoid shimmery or multi-colour outfits so the jewelry stands out without clashing. The different designs of the jewelry or those being chunky aren’t a problem, but the shades of the necklace and bangle don’t quite match—one leans more silverish-gold, while the other is more golden. Maybe just wear one of them rather than both.
Mixing chunky jewelry can be fabulous if balanced well! If your necklace is bold, let it take center stage, and ensure the bangles complement without competing. Consider the overall look; if your outfit is simple, the combination can shine without being overdone. Trust your instincts and have fun with it! 💃✨
A little bit. I'd split the bangles up between your wrists or drop the lighter colored one because the other bangle matches the necklace fine. I think the outfit would be a bit bare without them altogether.
Not a fan of anything gold.
