On myself or on others?

On myself, not at all. To me a plain old t-shirt is already more than cool enough in hot weather. I don't think like an extra 5 inches off of my shoulders or so is gonna make a huge difference. Plus, showing my armpits feels kind of gross since they're basically the smelliest, sweatiest part of my body.

On others? Context dependent. In the right context, and on a person with an attractive body (female or male) they can look great. But in other contexts they just make you look really underdressed. Also makes a difference though if they're tank tops meant to be worn by themselves or ones just simply meant to be worn under shirts. The former being better than the latter.

They are required clothing at points in life. An added layer of targeted warmth in winter and airy in warmer days. I wouldn't go into direct sunlight in them though I prefer my British genetic transparency.

I once went on a job interview and had been told specifically to not wear a sleeveless shirt, tank top, etc. the interviewer never even showed. I used that as a tongue in cheek baseline for interviews after that... I had asked if their job roll was open since the co workers had no idea where the person was. 😏

Meh. They’re ok under a shrug or at the gym, but I only like certain cuts for women. I don’t like them at all on guys.

Yeah I wear tank tops pretty often. They're comfortable, especially in these hot ass summers. And I think they look decent as well.

I also love girls in them. They can pair them with anything. Jeans, shorts, skirts, long skirts, wide leg pants, etc.

I agree as Startford described. No matter any age groups, but shape must be stunning and attention seeking body. These are trendy among under 30 age group. My girlfriend wear too, depending on weather.
