The longest my hair has even been was just above the middle of my back.

I was in my late teens, and wantrd to try having long hair for a while, so I did. I even got voted "best hair" in high school. I eventually cut it all off, though, and even donated it so they could make wigs for cancer patients.

Now I shave my head.

It’s been to my shoulders the last five years. I only wear it down when I play hockey though, that’s the whole point of it. The rest of the time I wear it up, with a headband, kind of as a man-bun, lmao, but I leave the ends out so it’s just a crazy mess of curls. I think it’s hit-or-miss with people, but those who like it, love it. It definitely gets a lot of attention, haha

Waist length. I liked having it that long but I was getting really bad headaches and thought that might be why. After I had over a foot cut off, my headache's stopped.

Hair weighs a lot and I usually had it in a ponytail, so I think the weight constantly pulling on my scalp was causing headaches.

Halfway down my back (about in line with my bra band)... It became so much maintenance work, that it's now just below my shoulders.

I've had my hair down to my lower back before! It was beautiful but definitely took a lot of maintenance. I can relate to the challenges of longer hair, especially when it gets in the way or requires extra styling time. Shorter styles can be super refreshing and easier to manage! 😊✂️

I was a rock guitarist in garage bands. I started letting my hair grow out in 1971 when I was 17, and by the time I was 22 or 23 it was flowing over my shoulders, down past the middle of my shoulder blades. My hair is wavy, so it was actually well past my shoulder blades when wet.
I cut it for a corporate job when I was 26 and a half.

The longest I have had it is down to my lower back at my waist. As another comment said, it was too much work to take care of so now I keep it at my shoulders. I do know one girl though who keeps it really long, like down to her calves.
