Would you mind if you dated someone and as you were getting underdressed you realised they were wearing something like this?

Do you wear them?

Personally, I feel people should be able to wear whatever they want, but I also would love people to feel comfortable in their own body shape.

Yes I would mind. It is a living nighmare to get it off, that's why lol. (And on). I've worn it myself just because I bought this dress that did not hold anything back. Never again. Have not seen it on a man, though. Hate going to social functions were you are expected to eat like a horse while you are suppose to maintain a figure of a model with that thing strapped to you in secret going no you don't. I have a vague memory of my partner trying to help me get if off, but it may have been blocked by my brain as one of those embarrassing moments he just think is funny. Thank God he's that kind of guy.

Body sculpting underwear is just another tool people use to feel a little more confident.

It doesn’t change who they are, it just smooths the edges they’re insecure about.

If I were dating someone and found out they wore it, I wouldn’t mind.

It tells me they care about looking their best, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Everyone has their own version of “armor.”

What matters more is that, underneath all that, they feel at home in their own skin.

Confidence is the thing that stays, the fabric is just temporary.

Ehhh, when I was younger I used to think that kind of thing was dishonest but now... If something makes you feel more confident and you notice a positive improvement in your life because something makes you look more presentable/closer to the image you want to project, there's nothing wrong with that.

To be fair, SOME outfits do require a slip or spanks or control brief because the material of the outfit is flimsy. In such cases EVEN a rail-thin person wears something to prevent the dress/slacks from clinging the wrong way, revealing too much, etc. It's not a lack of confidence, it's just how formalwear often is since ~Medieval times.

I prefer natural sculpting through healthy exercise. I think it would be a turn off for me if the guy in question undressed and was wearing something that supposedly sculpts by restriction.

It's just dishonest and unattractive if people find out. It's about as unappealing as coloured contacts. If you want a decent body, then work for it. Don't try to take Ozempic or use any cheat methods that do not work. Just workout. Good physiques are only attractive and respectable because they're not easy to attain. If everyone just automatically had a good physique, yes it would still look better than being obese, but it wouldn't be anything special.

I like that they found a way to feel comfortable but i'd rather the girl i'm with be comfortable without it. If we're stripping down, I already like her so i'm not going to care
