What I am experiencing? How to stop this insecurity?

I'm a light-skinned Black girl with a skin tone similar to Nicki Minaj’s. My skin used to be lighter, but I’ve gotten darker from spending a lot of time in the sun. Sometimes, darker-skinned Black people act as if I’ll be treated better because I’m lighter or that I’ll be seen as “less Black” because of my skin tone. It makes me feel like I should try to become lighter or even bleach my skin, and that really bothers me. Some darker-skinned people used to make fun of my complexion, but it never bothered me because I liked being light. I used to enjoy my skin tone, but now I want to be lighter and worry that if I get darker, my skin tone will look ugly. Sometimes I feel like without my skin tone or not getting lighter I’ll be nothing.
