Does it seem like women have problem accepting critique of their looks while dishing out it to men?

Have you noticed that women often like to give unsolicited opinions on the way men look, specifically regarding men who are fashion conscious and try for a certain style. "I don't like the hair, the shorts shouldn't go that high I don't like seeing his skinny legs, he looks like he's trying too hard", etc. But, if men offer any such critique of women's appearance, what do they say? "Nobody cares what men think, we don't dress for you, how dare you criticize her looks", etc.

Seems like a bit of double standard. I think they are used to a world where they only receive compliments no matter what they look like, anything else is unacceptable. Sometimes, y'all need to get checked too. Your girlfriends are never going to give you honest input, it's always gonna be you look amazing no matter what.

So I think we should either take into consideration what the other gender has to say, or just realize that nobody actually wants to hear it, and you shouldn't give unsolicited opinions on another person's looks unless you're just glazing to glaze.
