What is with all of today’s young women ruining themselves with body modifications?

I don’t mean to offend anyone here if this is something you’ve happened to choose for yourself, but I’m just being honest… the amount of young women that honestly I think could be very attractive without any of this stuff, but they’re covered in tattoos or have these excessive piercings…

I can see how beautiful they really are, in their eyes and shape and figure, but some are covered head to toe, or have sleeves of tattoos, or any combination of it all. I have to just say no and move on, because I find that anyone that would do that to themselves, they’re wearing whatever it is they’re dealing with on their sleeves and it’s like you just wish they had dealt with it differently.

I know on some level this sounds weird or maybe even selfish, like “she should look a certain way because I think that’s how she should look and be to my preference” but I just really think they are ruining themselves and putting out a much lesser image of themselves and what they could be.

And yes that’s their choice, I just look around a lot and see this in some form and it’s like “maybe I’m the crazy one for being normal” but it’s almost like THIS has become normal!

They make a great point. All these women out there today are after a “masculine man who has fatherly qualities” and I come on here and ask to understand this and express my opinion which completely aligns with the video, and these women will turn around and have ZERO respect for it, or for a man with fatherly instincts. This is not the man’s issue.

You’re not crazy for having a preference, but “ruining themselves” is where it gets a bit harsh. Tattoos, piercings, fillers, clothes, hair color… they’re all just ways of saying “this is me” on the outside. For many women, body mods feel empowering or artistic, not damaged.

You’re allowed to be attracted to a more “natural” look. Just remember they’re not doing it to spite men’s preferences. Their body, their canvas, their life.
