Why is this generation tearing down beautiful skinny/fit girls to bring up ugly fat/overweight girls?

I’ve noticed if a brand features mostly skinny/fit models then a lot of women will have problems with that. They call the models prepubescent, skeletal, anorexic, etc. but when a brand prominently features fat (not regular plus size) but fat models, women tend to celebrate that.

Like let’s be honest the models that are being celebrated are typically unhealthy and unattractive. Why the hell do women big up unhealthy females only to shit on girls who take care of themselves? Like I get wanting fat girls to feel nice too but why do skinny girls gotta take the L for them to feel nice?

Welcome to the new generation of morons and hypocrites where being fat is beautiful but being healthy is not 🤦🏽🤦🏽 I actually see that shit all the time on Instagram where you see a skinny model being insulted by so many people by calling her anorexic, that she needs to eat, she's unhealthy, etc. No one defends that model either. But then, when you see some fat chick modeling some clothes, so many people are complimenting her and when a few start saying a few negative comments about her weight, that's when people start attacking the people who left those comments.

Just a bunch of hypocrites. I feel like skinny people are being teared down to Bring up fat women because of jealousy and insecurity lol if fat people truly loved themselves the way they are, they wouldn't need to insult someone else's body type to make themselves feel better. So it is full of shit. If they don't feel cute being fat, then maybe they should eat less and go to the gym 🤷🏽

I'm skinny myself and I really do not feel put down for fat girls to have their time... That's just my perception of it though. If anything, fat and skinny girls are put down over curvy girls (which the body type pushed by porn) or fitness girls (that are the body type pushed by social media). Skinny girls aren't glorified anymore as we were in the 90s with the whole fashion industry and stuff, that's very true, we don't praise skinny women as much as we did. But saying that we're tearing down beautiful skinny women to bring up fat women is a stretch.

@Snickermarstwix I’m not mean, I’m a bit harsh, but I ain’t tryna be mean to anyone. The truth of the matter is women big up obviously unhealthy girls. I don’t consider little chub, or curvy, or even normal plus size as fat. I’m talking about the Tess Holiday type women. And society does have a way of tearing down a group to bring up another one. Whenever I see a fashion campaign featuring FAT (not curvy, or chubby) women, all the comments bring up skinny women and how we “suck” or are “irrelevant in today’s society”. No joke, women say that. I don’t feel as though fat girls deserve to be torn down. I just think other body types should not be torn down for them to be brought up. I think they can have their moment and feel nice without us skinny girls being dragged though the mud first. 🤷🏾‍♀️
