There’s a huge difference between control + abuse! Men want to feel respected and understood. We want our girl to comply.

I think women find a man exerting control as masculine and hot as much they complain. Men can only protect women this way.

Control is abuse. Compliance is not necessarily.

If a woman chooses to obey you, that's not control. That's a mutual agreement between both of you. That's understood that the minute she chooses not to obey you anymore, you will not force her to. She can leave.

Women don't want to be controlled. Some women want to be led or even bossed around by men, but always under their own terms. Nobody wants to be forced against their will.

Personally I'm one of the women who doesn't want to be controlled or bossed around or even led. I prefer an equal partnership, where we both love each other enough to support and lead.

I believe both men and women let the other person control them a little bit in the relationship. Like the wife might ask for a ride to the grocery store. The husband might ask for a pot roast dinner to be cooked by a certain time by the wife.

There's no absolute yes or no answer here. All I can say is your idea of a relationship is pretty messed up. I don't believe most men want that kind of relationship and I know most women don't. I have no doubt you'll attract the kind of woman who wants to be controlled and "protected" by you, but it's going to be nothing but constant drama.
