There's nothing wrong with dressing like Gordon Gekko, but only two or three of my best suit pants are even made to be used with (real) suspenders. So, it's usually belts for me.

Suspenders can be nut-crunchers at times, especially when bending over, even if adjusted to provide some room while standing.

Belts win for me, even though I’m not a gentleman 😂 but from a style and communication point of view, belts feel more versatile, modern, and easier to coordinate with shoes and bags. Suspenders can look amazing for vintage, formal, or quirky outfits, but they’re more of a statement. Belts just fit into everyday life more smoothly.

I wear suspenders/baces with my vintage suits. WAY more comfortable than a belt. People who have never worn suspenders/braces wouldn't understand. They take the weight off your midsection.

I wear the classic ones with buttons. The clip on type looks ridiculous and tend to break and don't work well.

I've never tried braces... so I really don't know about them, however... the physics about them, I am sure it would be annoying to me

I don't like belts either...

and 90% of the time I don't even need one except for those times in which a belt "has to go with the rest of the outfit" so I just wear it and then I don't have to hear others whining about it... lmfao
