Do you apply deodorant before or after putting your clothes on?

I hate the sticky feeling of deodorant, I wear roll on deodorant, so I usually apply it right after shower and let it dry before putting my clothes on. But I’ve noticed that some people put their clothes on first and then apply deodorant. I used to do that as a teenager and my deodorant didn’t use to last as long as when I let it dry first.

Chinese people are odourless and I have verified this through close friends by asking them to sniff me and see if I smell.

During my vacation, I had very little room for clothes because I packed so many other things in my luggage, so I wore he same outfit for 12 days straight and I was 100% odourless after 12 days, even though I did not wash my outfit in between. My family would not let the cruise line wash that outfit even though it was free for them to wash it for us, because it was so pretty, my family was worried they would steal it.

I use dry solid and dry spray antiperspirant. So it’s neither wet nor sticky. Deodorant is different, but I tend to apply that minimally. That way it’s less wet and sticky prior to putting on my shirt.

I spray my clothes after I wash them and hang them up to dry so I don't have to worry about spraying the stuff on me.

You’re doing it the best way already. Deodorant and antiperspirant work best on clean, dry skin and need a bit of time to set, so applying after the shower and letting it dry before dressing helps it last longer and reduces stains on clothes.

Putting clothes on first often rubs product off and makes it feel stickier.
