Physically? I’ve seen better; I’ve seen worse🤷‍♂️ I like to think I land on the better side of “average”, but I also have conspicuously never been approached to be a model despite having the height requirements😂

I’ve also committed to looking cool while playing hockey over looking good to women, lmfao, in that I have long, curly hair that I basically wear in one of those “pineapple” up-do’s off the ice, so I look like blond Sideshow Bob, which I can’t imagine is helping my chances with the ladies🤣🤣🤣 But I’m a haircut away, lmao

Other than that, though, I’m in good shape, people usually are stunned that I’m not in my 30s, and I did well for myself back in my heyday, so unless I totally fell off, I’d say I’m generally attractive. I probably just wouldn’t make you crash your car trying to get a better look at me as I walked down the sidewalk, haha. I actually kind of feel like some gals would be like “meh”, but then the ones who DO like me have typically been like “DAAAMMMMNNNN”, and think I’m really good looking.

My lady in particular, lmao, she overrates the hell out of me. One of my beer league teams did a chicken wing theme and we put wing sauce/rub flavors in place of our last names. I was kicking around some ideas based on “jerk”, and was reading a list of jerk sub-flavors. I read “hot jerk” aloud, and she was like “no, you’re too good looking to use that; it’d come off as arrogant, not funny.” Sure, lady…. Tell that to the thousand cold-approach murderers I encountered while dying my thousand deaths on the dating scene, lmfao. I don’t think some of them would have spit in my face if my eyebrows were on fire😂 I just asked if I could buy you a drink, you don’t need to roll your eyes and look over at your friends like that, y’know?🤣🤣🤣

I think the blond thing makes me hit-or-miss. I feel like 2/3, maybe 3/4 aren’t that into it; but that niche third or quarter of the female population that does like blond haired guys, that’s where I make my living, haha.

For the total package? I think you could do a whole lot worse than me. I’m polite, chivalrous, kind, loyal, I’d say I’m fun, I like to think I have a great sense of humor, I’m very easy-going, I don’t think I’ve started an argument with any girlfriend in my life, I’m smart but not an egghead, I’m fairly big and can handle myself well physically if you’re into the whole “protection” thing….. I think I tick a lot of the common boxes I hear women are looking for. I’ve got my faults too, of course, but I think I come with a lot more green flags than red ones😊

What we think of ourselves is often jaded. Because let's face it. Everyone wants to look attractive. But sometimes our genes tell us, "Oh no, you're not." Damn genes! Of course, a lot of us look pretty good when decked out in nice clothes and a good makeup application.

I think I'm average despite evidence to the contrary from women constantly approaching me and trying to chat me up. I mean, I get it but I guess I don't want to admit it to myself. Seems conceited somehow.
