How do you clean your shoes, whether sneakers or dress shoes/boots/high heels?

I wash them off with water and a scrub brush if they get ready muddy or dusty.. I also have construction booties to wear over them if I have dirty shoes and need to go into a clean house.

Otherwise, I don't do anything special. I wear boots or sneakers, depending on what kind of day it will be (boots on construction sites, sneakers for "clean" jobs where I am dealing with wires or computers or other jobs that don't require drilling or sawing).

My sneakers stay pretty clean unless I go somewhere that's dusty, and I stomp my feet and walk through grass and wipe them on welcome mats so they almost never get all that dirty. The boots get dirtier because the places I wear them are dirtier. That's just the nature of the job.

Sometimes I'll just use wipes depending on how dirty they are.

When they get really caked with mud I take them outside and hose them off wit the garden hose.
