Is light blue still the favorite color for a baby boy's room, and pink for a baby girl's room? Are there any other more 'neutral colors' out there?

I had a young lady who was living with me and was pregnant. She found out that she was having a girl.

She couldn't afford to buy anything for the baby. So I took her shopping and I wanted pink things. She insisted on having a baby blue blanket that she used all the time to wrap her up in.

I picked out her name - Jaden.

When she took Jaden to the doctor, they asked how old HE was. She told them it's a girl not a boy.

They said they thought it was a boy because of the blue blanket she was wrapped up in. 😐

I suppose those are the traditionl colors that will never be out of style but now some are opting for more neutral calming colors such as pale green or pale yellow

I would say for girls.. peachy colors or violet

for boys.. I would choose shades of brown or gray or even green
