Would you go jogging in a catsuit?

A female runner has been banned from wearing her catsuit in the 2028 Olympics because of sponsorship issue. Now a lot of women run, there's, jogging, marathons, hill running, park runs, and so on. And most opt for shorts and sports top, but would you consider wearing a catsuit when out for a run?

For me it would depend on the fabric, breathability, and how confident I feel that day. A sleek, well-ventilated catsuit can be comfy and empowering, but if it feels too tight, too hot, or too “look at me,” I’d rather stick to classic leggings and a sports bra.

I personally would not wear a catsuit when jogging, but a woman should be allowed to wear whatever she wants, including a catsuit.

Sponsorship issue is BS. All of the athletes in the Olympics are sponsored by, and wear outfits by, many sports companies like Nike, Adidas, UnderArmour.

In fact, Kelly Hodgkinson, shown in the picture, is wearing a Nike catsuit.

Obviously I wouldn't actually wear one.
BUT , as a runner myself they ( apparently) are brilliant to run it , so if I were in absolute elite class like the runner pictured , then sure I would..

And remember that Kathy Freeman run? ( Olympic gold ) That was a complete suit , think the benefits are pretty obvious..

Don't see why not. Female speedskaters regularly wear turtlesuits. As to it being a sponsorship issue they've allowed that sort of thing to have far too much influence on what athletes can and can't wear or use. If they'd done this sort of thing starting in the 70's tennis pros would still be usingwooden rackets. Too much control.

She doesn't seem to have a lot of support with that suit. I can envision her pushing her chest out at the tape and winning by a nipple. Now that would be uplifting for the sport.

Depends on the weather. In cool temps, runners train in heavier clothing all the time. It makes sense. Running tights and a long sleeve top or a catsuit, what’s the difference?

I wouldn’t, but i don’t see the problem. It’s clearly a Nike product and certainly not the only Nike product on the field.
