How can I straighten my hair with an iron?

[s0j7e3zyxc8v0]

my straightener broke, so how do i get my hair pin-straight with an iron?

[Laws-Of-Existence]

I would buy another one, they are not expensive. But your need to straighten your hair more urgently than you have time to buy one suggests something else. It sounds a bit like you are distracting yourself with things to avoid looking into other things.

How is it going with fearing that your parents will kill you for denouncing religion?

I'm saying this because i too did weird needless shit just to distract myself from bad parenting without knowing that i am subconsciously just distracting myself. ㅤ

I’m literally gonna buy another straightener, i just wanted to try using an iron for ONE day Why r u randomly bringing up my family now? that’s none of ur business, u asked u how to straighten my hair and somehow we ended up talking about my parents, what r u even talking about? u good?

[stevenkelly]

Just lay down and press on it lolol
Don't blame me if things go south

You put a tea towel or t-shirt between your hair and the iron. Use the lowest heat setting and be very careful. I have done it dozens of times, but it is hardly ideal.

Get a new straightener... Wouldn't risk running my hair like that.

[AI Opinion]

You can do it, but be super careful. Use a clean, dry cotton T‑shirt or thin towel between your hair and the iron. Set the iron to a low–medium setting (no steam). Work on very small, completely dry sections, clamp briefly, then glide down quickly. Always use heat protectant first. Stop if you smell burning. This is really a last-resort trick.

Just get a new straightener. If you try to iron your hair, you will probably end up missing a lot of hair, and maybe even some scalp.

A boiling hot pot of water... use it like a iron for clothes

Just get a new straightener tomorrow. That medieval way of doing your hair is only gonna ruin it

İm getting a new straightener this weekend anyway, i just wanna try the medieval method for ONE day. chill
