I dress very pink, feminine and preppy but all the other women my age in my town all dress pretty casual and cool but I feel silly in them clothes and just can't pull it off.
I worry I dress immature for my age, especially being a mother now. I dont want to be dressing the same as my daughter and no one else I know dresses like me and i kind of stand out. I like the way i dress but once or twice I think people have assumed im a gypsy as a lot of gypsy girls dress super feminine too in the uk some go really over the top were it looks tacky but some actually do dress very classy, conservative in the same way as me. I feel like i dont fit in

Your style sounds lovely, and it’s absolutely not “too immature” just because it’s pink, feminine and preppy 💕 Being a mum doesn’t mean you must switch to dull or plain. The key is balance: good fabrics, neat tailoring, and maybe slightly less cutesy details than your daughter. Standing out isn’t wrong; it’s memorable. Own it with confidence.
