Are worn Y2K denim bags back in style, or should I restore mine?

I pulled my denim bag out that I carried during the Y2K era. I read an article saying that they are back in style. I carry a quilted denim bag, but have been considering carrying this one again since then. I have considering getting it restructured/conditioned, but I have been told that it is in style as is. This is my bag that I pulled out. What do you think?
