Faux leather leggings, still in or trashy?

You've made the telling statement "faux." I think that's the only problem with these leggings. They are made out of polyester and lycra, and with the shiny exterior, they probably don't breathe, so in the crotch area, they hold in heat and damp.

Though leather is expensive, it, like cotton, linen and other natural fabrics, breathes. If they were actually cut to a slim fit, they'd look and wear far better than their polyester/lycra imitation, plus they'd have functional and useful pockets.

It's not that they're trash-Y. They're actually sort of "trash." They won't last long enough to go out of style because of the throwaway fabric they're made of. And I bet new, they cost more than $30.

Save money and buy yourself real leather pants. You'll be able to wear them in all but the hottest weather and they'll last 20 years or longer. Buy a classic style and cut and you can mix and match them with anything. Dressed up or dressed down. Most common colors are chocolate and black, but you might be able to find red and deep to bright blues also.

You'll probably need to cough up $150, but try thrift stores and consignment shops, where you might be able to get a barely used pair for half that or less.

I say faux leather because I specifically meant those. The look is different and personally I don't like wearing real leather pants. Maybe other pants have better quality material but that's just my personal preference

Leather is not really as expensive as people are led to believe. I have experience buying raw material for leather articles and guess what? What's sold for 100$ costs no more than 20$ same item 😂

leather pants/leggings are really trendy rn so yea for the if its in. for the trashy part i think it depends on how you style them. if you wear it with normal stuff its not trashy at all, but if you wear it with super tight revealing stuff can maybe look like that maybe

I would rather wear leather pants as a guy to look stylish, maybe when I’m dating women I could get their opinion about clothing style. Sneaker top shoes go well with leather pants with blazer shirt and white shirt with cross necklace. Get sunglasses with it too, along with cologne.

It’s called dress to impress, it’s sociology stuff. I just look at clothe styling pictures for guys like us to get ideas what to wear to look sharp, and handsome. I pick cologne that women like smell from guys at work, and they complimented my cologne smell.
