Most anti-aging skincare is a scam, it's just needlessly overpriced moisturizing products for the most part.
The only ingredients that have established scientific backing in skincare for aging are specifically vitamin c & retinol. Vitamin c in serum or moisturizer form acts as an antioxydant (ie it slows oxydative stress which causes all the signs of aging in the skin) and retinol repairs (it doesn't prevent per see aging, but it removes little wrinkles and makes less noticeable moderate to deep ones). Never mix or layer these two together at the same time (you can do vit c morning & retinol at night though), and only use a bit of retinol, and start with once a week, ideally at night. Retinol is best in serum form, but can be used in creams. You need to also moisturizing twice a day, any moisturizer type will do. It's been to do it right after the shower, to trap in moisturize. And also try to wear spf 30 or 50 sunscreen (below or above are scams). You can get lightweight ones or moisturizers who have spf in them. It would be probably overkill for you to wear it everyday (but that's actually what dermatologists recommend) so during the warmer seasons, try to wear in when you can especially between 10 am & 4pm when uvs are at their highest. Sun damage cause horrible oxydative stress and causes about 85% of visible skin aging.
For strictly skincare that's about it, don't use more than those products, besides a cleanser and an exfoliating scrub that you use like twice a month Too much skincare ruins your skin. Since you're a guy, you should get those products made for men, since men's skin is a lot thicker and oilier than women's. Maybe some women's products might not be as effective on your skin.
Ideally though, you should try to have 7-9h sleep, drink 2L of water a day, eating mostly healthy unprocessed foods, getting all your vitamins, having moderate exercise, not stress much, don't smoke, avoid drinking too much, put an anti-blue light screen on devices or turn down brighting or/and put night light mode (there is mounting evidence of evidence that blue light might be as bad as the sun for skin aging), try to be a happy person, etc.
Personally (25), the stuff I do for anti-aging specifically, is use retinol serum twice a week at night, and retinol undereye patches or retinol eye cream at night. I have very rich night cream that I use after. Sometimes I put an overnight forehead immobilizing mask (it's called frownies) to prevent wrinkle formation since I'm chronically stressed and clinch my forehead all the time, I'm scared it could start to crease. Sometimes I use vitamin c serum, and at times I use my vitamin c infused spf 50 moisturizer. Sometimes I wear plain old sunscreen. I do take retinol/vitamin a pills daily, and vitamins. when I have extra money, I take collagen & hyaluronic acid supplements. With supplements though, if you're interested, there's a lot of scams, only some forms of collagen work, and hyaluronic acid does work, but their effects aren't magical, but combined with everything else it can help.
Moisturizer and if I'm long in the sun some SPF too. I don't get sunburn easily , my skin is used to it, but it is still healthier to use some.
The most important things you can do is don't smoke, drink alcohol, or do drugs. Also, exercise at least a couple times per week. That will help you more than any skin creams.
I exercise but the rest of that stuff is gonna have to wait till I have a kid 😂
It'll be too late. Quitting doesn't undo the damage. I am 45 and look younger than people I know in their early 30s because they frequently drink alcohol every week and some used to do drugs. Some people I knew had lots of gray hair in their late 20s and I barely have 8 at my age that are just above my sideburn area so I cut them off and show none.
I take GHK-CU and eat healthy. If I'm out with my youngest son, we are often asked if we're brothers.
The hell is that? Sounds interesting
It's a copper peptide supplement. It's really popular here in SE Asia. My wife is Asian and all her friends take it and they all look like the exactly like their pictures in college. It tightens skin, grows hair and gets rid of grey hair.
You’re smart to think about this early 😉 A sugar scrub alone won’t do much for aging and can even be a bit harsh.
Focus on gentle cleanser, daily sunscreen SPF 30+, a moisturizer suited to your skin type, and at night a retinol or retinal serum plus antioxidant like vitamin C in the morning.
Consistency, sun protection, sleep and not smoking beat any fancy scrub.

age's not an issue for me... the concern would be the sun, so... if that's taken care for, the rest is fine
This should do the trick.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/RjKNbfA64EESunscreen daily on top of my regular skin care routine. I also use tretinoin nightly and have since I was about 14-15 lol.
I wear sunscreen everyday because I work outside. Sunscreen is good at preventing wrinkles
Nature will win. I just let it.
