I think my coworker might like me, but I'm confused because of his actions. He's 21 and I'm 19. I know he is inexperienced with girls.
Here's why I think he likes me:
acts very awkward around me at times and does not act awkward with other coworkers. Caught him staring at me before and he looked away quickly. Is extremely polite and will not say anything mean to me even as a joke. I think I saw him looking at my body when he thought I didn't see. Talks to me a lot and asks questions about my life.
BUT I noticed he always tries really hard not to touch me at all...even on accident. If he hands me something, he will be so careful not to touch our hands that's it's noticeable he's avoiding it. It actually makes things more awkward. Another thing that makes me believe he doesn't like me is that he will avoid me at times. Like if we have nothing to say to each other and things get awkward, he will walk away and not come back for a while. Or he will not approach me until 20 minutes into work, but when he does he will be really nice and talkative. He's avoiding me or the awkwardness? Plus, he hasn't asked for my number or asked if I had a boyfriend or anything like that. We only see each other a few times a month.
So why is he doing this weird touching thing? And do you think he is interested or not?
I have sort of developed feelings for him, but do not want to act on them right now. It's too soon. I don't know enough about him or if I even like him for sure. I do not know if he likes me. The feelings developed after I caught him staring. Then, I began to spend more time around him and saw his personality. It made me more attracted. I just feel good when I'm around him and I enjoy his company a lot.
