This girl at work is shy, but we used to talk all the time, like everyday but things got weird and she has a boyfriend.

Anyways when ever I see her we'll like look at each other then when we first make eye contact she looks down immediately then back up at me and makes eye contact.

Like today I was walking down the hall towards her and we were looking at each other when we were close enough to make full eye contact boom eyes down for a second then back up at me. This afternoon I turn the corner there she is eye contact and boom they're back down again immediately. What is this?

She also like studies my face or like studies my reactions to her. Like she is trying to read me, what is this? Thanks!

She's got a low self-esteem. I guess it's normal for someone with such to be squinting a lot. It's indicative of someone who's been had by some very poor social experiences that may have caused this nervous tick.

She may like you, but there are two other variables here. She can be a hermit outside of work and lack social contact, 2 weeks of hermit behaviour will render her anxious in front of others. Next, there's the possibility that she has had a rough social life, persons may have angered or harassed her. Her liking you is possible, check her pupils and see if they're dilated, that's when she's interested, contracted is when she's scared or angry at you. I would play this out by taking her out for a coffee, whatever thing, and just tell her it's not a date. Give her an opportunity to open up. Familiarity will loosen her nervous tick - just be careful, this personality type is obsessive.
