How will a guy act around a girl he really likes? Especially if they're already really close?

I want to be able to catch signs that this guy likes me, but it's hard to tell. he's normally very confident and outgoing with everyone (and naturally touchy) so Im not good at picking up on hints when he tickles or play fights with me. How do guys act differently with girls they have strong feelings for in contrast to girls they just want to fool around with?

If a guy is touching you in anyway he is obviously flirting. If he makes fun of you in a jokey way and then says like ah I'm only joking, or nah jokes, he's flirting. If he gives you longer stares than normal he is thinking about you. If he talks to one of his friends and then one of them stares at you he might be saying that your cute or you look really hot today or something like that haha. If he finds random reasons to start talking to you that aren't really that important, he's trying to find ways to get to talk with you cos obviously he fancies you. But really a lot of guys are different in the way they do things. Is he a confident guy, or is he shy, is he popular, or is he a quiet one, do they girls all talk about him, or is he just a one of guy that you like. Many factors determine how guys like to play with girls they like. Give me more info about him and I can assist.

Sometimes he'll say things that hurt my feelings and then ill turn away and he'll hug and cuddle me and say he was just kidding. He always cuddles with me and tickles and play fights with me, almost every day. He'll randomly start petting my hair or playing with my waist. The only problem is, is that when we go to parties or get-togethers together, he kind of distances himself from me, and i'll see him playing around with other girls (which hurts, because I have feelings for him). We act like best friends, but I feel like there's sexual tension there (dont know if he feels the same way). Everything has been mostly platonic except for one night when he felt me up from behind. Our lips were touching but he didn't kiss me. I dont know why... any thoughts?

Those are definitely signs that he likes you, but the party thing is really weird. Like usually when guys have the chance to kiss a girl or hook up with the girl they take the opportunity.

Maybe he didn't want to ruin our close friendship? idk... and yeah he gets with slutty girls all the time because he says its 'easy' and he doesn't need to do anything afterwards (call, text, date)... I don't know if im special in his eyes though. Its like why can't he see that everything he needs is right here?

If you want to stand out to him above all the other girls then you need to show that you are interested in him, and do things that guys like. Flirt with him more, like a lot more. You make the initiative, maybe he's just nervous to do things with you because he likes you more than any other girl. So to make him comfortable, go up to him and do stuff that shows that your interested in him. Play with him, I don't know do your girl magic i guess :)

If you guys are cuddling then wtf! Go for it, do what you like to him. Trust me, any guy would be more than happy for you to start touching him while your cuddling. My girlfriend and I used to love cuddling together because we would start stroking and kissing eachother and playing around and its so fun trust me!

Its just i dont know if he sees me as just a friend you know? we're super close but i dont know if he sees me in the same light as i see him and I dont want to risk our friendship if he rejects me. Thats the main problem :/ ps just so you know, you're getting most helpful hahaha

I understand your uncertainty, but if you guys are that close as friends where you cuddle and play around like that, then you should certainly just put a more flirty approach to your relationship to see how he reacts to it. If your getting negative vibes from him and he tries and backs off a little when you do that kinda stuff then thats when you know he doesn't want to get serious with you. Thanks by the way :)

yeah i mean when he felt me up, i got the hint that he was sexually attracted to me but when i gave him the chance to kiss me and he just left his lips there, it make me think twice

Maybe he's a bad kisser, or he's not a confident kisser... ask other girls about him and what they might've heard..
