How do guys act around a girl they love but shouldn’t?

Like say he does love her but shouldn’t, like it’s forbidden eg she’s unavailable or he is, how would he act? Avoidant? Etc.

There is one particular girl who I have an extremely weird connection with. The best way to describe my behavior is sporadic and anxious. From her perspective, she might see it as avoidant. I still like her way more than I should, but I have no idea how she feels based on her behavior. Some thing she does would indicate she feels similarly, but her other actions would indicate she abhors me.

I’ve had a crush on a girl who was taken before. I couldn’t help myself but flirt with her every chance I got. It’s not that I hated her boyfriend or was trying to be rude but I needed her in my life. Every time I saw her I got drawn closer. I’m sure others might have different experiences and if she was married maybe I would have acted differently, But it’s hard to say.
