Yeah well i seen girls hit guys in arguments and i also have been on receiving end of slaps for really no good reason. If you say something they don't like or they are loosing an argument they seem to feel more prone to slapping a man, but they wouldn't slap a girl in the same situation. Now when your a man growing up you learn quickly not to hit others for no good reason, I also been in quite a few fights (with guys of course lol) and it was like not random hits that you take from girls but instead a agreed brawl. Hmm example remember telling my brothers girlfriend to get the &^%$ out of my house and I forget why, but i do remember the slap or slaps i received. Now thats what i mean for no good reason, its just odd how they think they could do that... In my life i've said much worse and much more frequently to guys and never got sucker punched/slapped.
And if the guy was to hit me it would be known and it would be mutual agreement to fight. For God sake even my brother never hit me for something i said and we fist fought alot. Girl hitting me for no good reason happen 2 times and i seen it happen to others much more. Its stunning how they wana talk like and feel like a man but dont expect to get knocked out. Looking back i think i should have jabbed them right in the mouth and puch out my brother in the process.00 Reply

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yAmongst all the answers only one lady thinks slapping a guy can be unfair. Rest of the girls think they can slap a guy because there's no consequence, or they think it won't hurt a guy or they think girls are emotionally more prone in a quarrel. Just search on the internet any guy-girl fight and see who abuses more, who crosses the line more often. Most of them will show girls hitting first, more abusing more and getting away with it. Well the insult in getting slapped is a lot more painful than the slap. There are cases where students have attempted suicides because some girl abused and slapped them in college. Some have gone under depression because of such things. But the answers show that except one of them no girl cares about these. Imagine you are reading where a guy writes on a forum that he slaps girls because they cry and its funny to him, how does that sound? Is this gender equality? No other answer here shows that they feel any responsibility in return to the benefits the law and community gives them.

because a woman couldn't hurt you as much as a guy would hurt a woman. I don't agree with this but I think men can damage a woman a lot more emotionally but girls think slapping a guy I the face is the ultimate beat down. it's completely different, I'm not being sexist but you can't compare the two, I'm not talking about an abuse relationship, that's completely different and it's both just as bad as there's always an emotional abuse element too. but as a standard girl slaps guy, guy slaps girl, they're not comparable. a guy could do serious damage, and most guys aren't brought up thinking it's ok to hit a girl so if he does he's usually a jerk. how many nice guys have you met that would hit a girl? but I know lots of nice girls who have a slapped a guy!

A guy could do what type of damage? emotional? physical? Well, think before you hit. Not everyone is going to think that hitting back is wrong, In my opinion is self defense. Only way your face won't turn red after getting hit and you might get a better night sleep.

What a sexist view ! Its alright for a girl to slap a guy? Who the hell are you they should not ever speak another word to you and just leave. The police and arrest is the proof that Men are liable for idiots that think like you.

i think there is a big differeence like between slap and punch. if she is being a really nagging beech that just won't shut up and nothing else worked. and i mean an open handed slap with light force is justified...
sean connery had a video on this and i agree... look it up.
not surprising you gonna have bad, unfair women that mistreat men and hide behind double standard of modern society... sad but true...
+1 y1. We are aware that most guys will not hit a woman back
2. Some of us can get highly emotional and feel that a slap is justified (like cheating, gave her an STD lol)
3. Some occassions a slap is justified. I slapped the sh*t out of a guy who grabbed my ass. I wish he would have hit me back he would have got f***ed up
4. Men are stronger than women. There are a few exceptions like if Chyna the wrestler hit Pauly Shore, I'm pretty sure she would beat his ass, that wouldn't be a fair fight. But the avg man has 4x the upper body strength of a woman. Hitting her back because she it you in that case would do her way more damage than a woman hitting a man. Most women are no physical match for a man and that's why it's so taboo03 Reply- +1 y
I don't know Pauly Shore might win that fight XD lol I was a wrestler (real wrestling) in high school and seen things like midget (guy) beat a 5'5 Athletic (girl).
Also if you watch MMA or any sport for that matter, you would very easily notice the intensity, demeanor and agression difference between a guys and girls. Lol all in all id put my money on Paully. - +1 y

I grabbed the boobs and ass of a friend when I was 14 thinking that she would like it. To my surprise, she slapped me for it. Looking back, I think I earned it, and should have apologized to her for it. Although, she had slapped me before for absolutely no reason, but I think that was because she was just joking around and wanted attention.
+1 yThat's crap. I think when girls are younger they think that's alright, but as they get older they should definitely grow out of it and see how immature it is. I still don't think you should strike back, but not just because you're a guy; rather, I feel like nobody should ever hit another person, and two wrongs don't make a right.

I agree. The guy can restrain her, that's usually enough
Asker+1 yIf you let someone get away with hitting you they will think they can keep getting away it. and a guy shouldn't have to restrain her, she should be able to have self-control/self-restraint. once you cross the line of getting physical a guy should have every right to strike back.

I wouldn't say the first one is free. There shouldn't be a double standard when it comes to hitting and slapping. If girls don't like guys hitting and slapping them, even in jokes, then they (girls) should follow the same standard. Drop the "oh, he's a guy, he should be able to take it". Understand something guys have feelings, just like girls and they deserve the same respect; we are punching and slapping bags. How about you slap some guy / friend cause you're feeling pissed, and he clocks you? How will you feel? Embarrassed right? Well, think about how he feels when you just come up and slap him; it's a very uncomfortable situation. Keep your hands to yourself. respect and respect will be given.
Women need to understand something, you keep slapping and hitting you boyfriend because you think he can take it, will soon find out he will leave and find someone else that doesn't, and respects him10 Reply
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI am a nice guy but do not deserve to be hit. I also will let the first or even second hit happen but after that I will floor anyone that wants to abuse me. I think the media has shown us it is acceptable and at times even funny for a female to hit a male.

+1 yRage can drive a woman to do unspeakable things. Most of times, women is more sensitive; mentally and physically than men. That drives their emotions to be more explosive, making them act without thinking of consequences. I don't think anyone should be hitting anyone no meter what is going on. If a man cheats on you or do something that you might not like. Just move on with your life. Same for men.

+1 yI've slapped a guy before for grabbing me in a club and he wouldn't let me go, finally some people intervened and he let me go and that's when I hit him. Hard i might add, I think he deserved it! Men have every right to strike back in self defence in my opinion, but at times they need to accept that they deserved it. Such as my example above! Men are stronger than women so they need to have as much self control as they can possibly can.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yThe first blow is free, after that I will strike back. - LOL
Well, for your information, not all girls are like that.
But uh, when you're being a jerk, someone needs to put you in your place! Or something.11 Reply- +1 y
world does not work that way, just because you don agree with what he is saying does not mean your right and his wrong and that he needs to be put in a place. Funny guys dont think like that at all, we guys get in much worse arguments and say much worse things without having to feel like hitting one another. Be good day when guys start punching out stupid girls with this mind set
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI would never slap or hit a guy, I think that's immature and if I was a guy and some girl slapped me, I would slap her back too.

If you really know what it is to be on the receiving end and bring a guy I wager that you would think differently on that matter.
