I have been texting this girl I like for over a month everyday. I told her I liked her when we first started talking like a Month ago when she had a boyfriend, but know they broke up and she stopped texting and talking to me, and know it's a week later and she has a different boyfriend and she still hasn't talked to me since. I know she liked me before her brake up by the way she said stuff and the stuff she said l, but know she stopped and its like I don't even know her now. When ever I pass her in the hallway she always smiles at me and says hi I don't really know what that means. I don't know what to do, should I text her and ask what's going on?

honestly i think txting is your problem. its really a bad idea to start txting with people other than to ask if they want to get some coffee or something actual.

text is really dam annoying if your not already into a serious relationship, and even then its still kinda annoying.

I'm not sure your age or her's but by age 23 a woman is really on the down slide.. its very strong and effects thinking, she might want something real and proper... not bf /gf flirty stuff from grade 7 ... all it takes is one charming mature man and a short conversation for everything to click for her.. and she knows what she want's.. and its the way that older guy was.. could be a boss, a coffee shop owner, her accountant... and then in that moment you become very distant to her, childish and its a very awkward position for her... there is nothing to say and the world kinda changed... usually in that time a girl will reach out and test some thing about you.. and your not really there listening or understanding.
u can fix it. just takes a fatherly, mature, deep expression in words and must be honest and believable.. just be cautious and not desperate not weak

Well I've know her for 3 years but we just started talking now. She's even told me that we are best friends but then I thought we where in the friend zone but then she told me best relashensips start out in the friend zone and this had to be a few weeks ago before we stopped talking

I really do want to ask her what is going on but I don't want to start talking to her and her just not wan to talk to me. But the thing is we have art together and I sit by her every day a we talk a good amount like everything's ok, but I guess we are both shy and I guess some of the stuff we say though text is not something we would repeat in person. But idek why I like her so much I want to move on but I can't I don't even want to go out with her any more I just want to be good friends with her. What the first step I should take do you think?
