How to catch crush's attention (he's a cashier)?

So I think I have a crush on this guy that works at Bilo. I've been through his checkout lines several times before but I get nervous to talk to him. I saw him at a football game last week and he smirked at me when he saw me... What does that mean? The next day I saw him at Bilo and he didn't really smile or talk?

LOL I am also a cashier... Girls tend to strike a conversation with me "how is my day is going, you have got a great accent... bla bla." Just a simple conversation.
All you have to do next time, is to try to go to him whenever they have slow business day, Buy something, go up to him, ask him how is his day is going, how is his team doing so far... etc." Simple conversation, because I know when a girl keeps coming in to my work very often and start a friendly conversation, this will indicate to me that she is interested.

Haha I have a story and maybe you can glean some skills off of this girl.
I used to work at a ice cream store and this girl came in and asked "hey can I have your numbe... I mean a napkin" at which point I wrote my number on a napkin and told her I hoped to see her soon.
In your instance if it is a slow day you could take the receipt, write your number on it and then give it back. "Ma'am would you like your receipt?" "yes please" *writes number* "actually never mind. I don't need it"

You develop quite a lot of "crushes"... baseball players, cashiers... I think that's just it though, just crushes, which is odd because, aren't you a tomboy?

The cashier is a baseball player, lol. I was talking about the same person. And so what if I am a tomboy? I can't like guys?
