Is he interested in me again just because I was no longer showing interest in him?

I dated this guy last month, and then he told me he needed a little space about 3 weeks ago. I was very insulted by this so I left him alone completely and gave him exactly what he asked me for. We haven't had any communication since then. So I went out this past Friday and met a new guy. I was having fun and laughing with this new guy when I looked to my left and saw the guy, who had wanted a little space, sitting at a table with his friend. He shot me a quick glance and almost looked upset! But who knows if he was mad? So I got uncomfortable and led my new guy away to the dance floor. The next day, Saturday, I went out with the new guy again, and we were having the time of our lives again, laughing and making our way to the dance floor when here comes the "I need a little space" guy off the dance floor with a girl. I walked right past him, with about 1 foot between us, holding the other guy's hand and did not even look at or acknowledge him. I acted like he wasn't there or was a stranger to me. But my best friend was there with me that night, and knew the entire situation and who the "I need space" guy was. So she was about 5 feet behind me following me and the new guy and saw everything happen, which I really didn't care at the time what was happening because I still felt insulted and mad at the other guy. But when I walked by him, he was watching me out of the corner of his eye and had a facial expression that looked like he had just sucked on a lemon. But he was there with a different girl as well! I don't understand! And as I was leaving the club with my new guy, we made eye contact for a split second and he watched my walk away with the other guy. Ok so I gave him exactly what he wanted, space, and now it seems he's jealous! Or is it more hatred? And my problem is that I am very very attracted to and interested in this guy who needed space. But I just don't understand! Is he interested in me again just because I was no longer showing interest in him? Is it bad to try to communicate with him again? Or what was he thinking? I thought that he would also just act like I was a stranger to him since he hasn't called or text me in three weeks and wanted space. Would somebody please explain his behavior to me because I am completely confused! :(

it sounds like he's being a jealous little boy. to be honest, do you want someone who doesn't know what he wants until he can't have it anymore? I guess it's up to you if you want to go back down that road, but either way I would wait for him to make the first move. HE said he wanted the space in the first place so if he wants to start seeing you again, it's up to HIM to let you know. If not, then it's his loss because clearly you have no problems with other men finding you attractive and desireable! the power is all yours honey!

It sounds like pure jealousy. I mean it comes across that he wanted you to wait for him. But really you have the choice to wait or date. If you ask me waiting for a while is good but if you see nothing is progressing and he still wants space then you need to move on. I'm going through the same thing right now with this girl only the situation is different. It's a long story but I'm trying to get my question answered myself.

So even after 3 weeks of no communication whatsoever you think it would still have been good to wait? I figured he thought it was a good way of letting me down easily by telling me he needed a little space. Also, the first night I met the new guy, the other guy saw me coming into the club almost right behind him, and almost seemed like he was trying to avoid me. Because otherwise he would have waited and talked to me. But then he realized I was the one avoiding him. And what is ur situation?
