Would a Guy Date a Girl who was Pretty but not Popular?

So I'm namely asking the guys this, but girls can answer too. :3

So if your a popular/noticed guy in your area, do you notice girls that are pretty/good looking, even beautiful but aren't what you would define as popular or noticed? If you do notice them, do you ever consider dating them?

For instance if you saw a girl in one of your classes that was very attractive but didn't talk to anyone in that class, and you haven't seen her around many people would you approach her?

I've noticed that there are a few really good looking girls who I know personally with great personalities that don't get approached by guys, especially popular ones, because they don't talk to that many people or aren't considered popular. Sometimes they do talk to guys but for some reason the boys won't date them, or if they do they seem ashamed to take them in public places.

Do guys like to be with girls that are noticed by everyone?

Would you date a non-popular girl?

As long as she had a nice personality?

This is just my opinion, but I would prefer a non-popular girl. Just because I've known so many popular girls who have that high and mighty attitude. It's not about who she knows, it's about who she is. being really pretty is an added bonus =) and if there are guys out there who don't date girls because they're unpopular but still a great person and attractive, then those guys aren't worth anyones time. Plus, I find it easier to approach you girls when your not moving in your little packs ;p.

Most guys prefer unpopular girls, I think.

IF he wants to be with a girl just because he's popular so that people will go, "Aww, Mike's a f***ing sex monster, bros, he's dating Lyndsay!" then obviously you don't want to be with him to begin with.

Anyway, normal guys don't care about how popular a girl is (unless she's too popular to be approachable,) so it really doesn't matter.

i think prettiness counts more than popularity.

it's easier for a pretty girl to become popular, if he really likes her he can introduce her to his group and she can make friends with them and thus become popular.

but usually if the guy is popular any girl that he dates is either popular or pretty acceptable

There's like 10 "popular" girls and everyone else is "unpopular". I don't think the guys are gonna waste their time on those ten girls' who probably wouldn't date an "unpopular" guy.
