I've been snapchatting this girl recently and i noticed that she never sends pictures of herself. its always of other things like food or pets. does that mean she's not interested?

No not necessarily. Maybe she's not comfortable with sending someone a picture of her or she feels like she doesn't look presentable. You can ask her about it playfully, like "hey, how come I never see your beautiful face?" and see what she says, but I wouldn't base her entire attitude towards you on this type of interaction.
