Why doesn't she ever send selfies?

I'm friends with my crush on snapchat. I'm also friends with some of her friends. Oftentimes, I'll see her send a snap to them of her making a funny face or just a picture of herself. When I snapchat her though, it's never of her. It's always something nearby like her pets or whatever she's watching on netflix. Why is that?

To people you know well it`s ok to send ugly pics, because it`s not that awkward.
But if you send a pic to someone your not that sure about it can be awkward because most girls want to look good in pics of them self.
