Why does he keep standing me up what's going on?

my so called boyfriend doesn't talk to me on MySpace anymore. he doesn't have me on his top. he doesn't remember the day we started going out. he's stood me up like 5-7 times. and then doesn't even call or text me to say he's not coming anymore. and when I try to find out for myself if he's coming or not, he ignores my calls and text. I haven't seen him since april, so imagine how lonely I am. everyone's telling me I should have broken up with him a long time ago, but he says he loves me and I love him so I'm not going to leave him but what's the deal? why does he keep standing me up what's going on? and do you think I'll ever see him again.

i guess when he gets out of jail and starts to call/text me again I'll ignore it and play with his head and get back at him ughh nice to know I've been played

you think he doesn't respect me because I have cheated on him with his best friend. and the second date I lost my virginity to him maybe I was asking for the way I'm being treated now. you say move on but I don't even think I could love again.

Well I've moved on from him and I feel better. I'm just scared to get into the next relationship.

He probably found something better to do, or someone better to do.

Ive found that usually if a guy seems uninterested in a relationship any more it means that he found something else that caught his interest. You shouldn't let yourself be his something to fall back on.

The only time he's going to call or text is when he has a gray area in his life. (when he has nothing better to do) He doesn't love you and if he thinks he does than he does not know what love is. If he did he definitely wouldn't ignore you or blow you off without good reason and not some lame excuse.

Don't you think that you deserve better than what you're getting- which is nothing? He makes no effort to contact or see you. His actions clearly demonstrate that he doesn't respect, love or care about you. If he did then he would be in contact a lot more and want to spend time with you. You need to tell yourself that you are worthy of love, a man with a genuine interest in you and who wants to learn and be with you.

I think he might be seeing someone else based on what you said but who cares? You can do better, now say "next."

Do you think he or the situation will change? Is this why you are having problems accepting it? He WON'T change and neither will the situation. You need to find someone more mature who treats you like a lady with respect and dignity. He is the poster child of who NOT to date.

Lol yes. you said it. I'm thinking the relationship will change. if I break up I'm thinking he'll find sumone else and treat her a hell of lot better and of course go to HER house and blah blah and I don't want to see that happen that's why I'm keepign him with me. I sound so silly =/

Men like this typically fall into a pattern where they treat the girls they date the same- like crap. They do not change. It's a vicious cycle that continues. That's why you need to make a mature decision and realize that you can do better than him. There are good guys out there that know how to treat a lady right. When you encounter him, you're in for a lovely surprise on how awesome it is to have a guy who cares for you ONLY and ONLY wants to be with you.

Wow, you call that love? Sorry, but he doesn't love you. He may say he does, but he doesn't. None of his actions show it and eventually you will come to recognize this. People in a normal relationship don't stand each other up and ignore one another. You need to listen to your friends and break up with him. Get on with your life and find a guy that will treat you right.
