HELP!!! What does it mean when a guy holds the back of your head while kissing you?

A guy and I were kissing and he kept holding the back of my head with one hand and it was sort of like he wanted my face buried into his..he kept holding my head and like bringing my face closer to his, although we were as close as you can get because we were already kissing.

anyone have a clue as to why some men tend to get like that when kissing a girl...?

Mostly its accepted.

However, I do find it a bit sinister (having seen some situations where it seems the kiss was forced and controlling) so I don't do it myself (unless its a gentle holding of the head).

No, it just seemed like he wanted to like "eat" my face....like if being that close still wasn't close enough
