To tell if she is still wanting you, is easy sometimes, but really it depends on the person you are dealing with. But most likely if she hangs around with you and a group of friends, or just try's to find reason to be with you. And then also there is always (if you do text) the random texts saying "hey." Or if you use IM she may just random IM you at times. Even though she try's to keep it simple, behind the words she is trying to tell you she still wants you, and most of the time if she doesn't come out first about still liking you. The she is waiting for to say something. Another good thing to use is time. Try and think about how many times a day, week, or months she talks to you, or try's. And is she always the one that starts the covo.?...These are a few signs that I can tell you. But like I said from the start it depends on what type of person you are dealing with. A proud person that doesn't want to admit she was wrong, or the shy kind that is too scared to say anything cause she doesn't want to get hurt anymore.

As they say actions speak louder than words, so I would say she would be knocking your door down if she seriously wanted you back. Watch out for the mind games though cause my ex started contacting me telling me he loved me etc only to find out he's still with his girlfriend and has no intension of splitting up with her. When he said those things I really thought he was coming back but no it was all a mind power game. They try to mess with your head to believe something that's not actually going to happen.

Examples? When she talks about other guys to you, or when she asks YOU about other girls, when she has an opinion about these other girls, ... or when anything she says or asks is beyond what your other friends would ask.
Just as an aside - I've NEVER been friends with my exes. There is the chance you will get back together, but exes cannot be demoted to the 'friend' status. Rather, they are demoted to being your acquaintance... and with time and distance, MAYBE then she could become your friend again. She has to earn your trust, AS your friend, in a whole different way. I hope that helps.
