How to flirt with my guy friend without being obvious to our friends?

There's a guy I'm really into, and we have a lot of the same mutual friends. I want to flirt and let him know I'm interested, but I don't want his friends to know about it. I just feel weird letting everyone know that I like him because none of our friends know that I do yet.

Should I just go for it and ignore what everyone thinks, or play it cool and try to be subtle about it?

To tell you the truth it depends on the guy. Some are "faster" the others when it comes to "hey I like you hints" I had to deal with this same thing almost a year ago. And to make the whole thing worse he was one of the "slow" guys. So the winking and smelling didn't work for me but what did work was me flat out telling him. I waited till we were alone and just said "look I like you. Balls in your court." then kissed him (on the cheek) winked and joined the rest of our friends. He went home that night and called me now we are to be married in two years! So good luck and hey I so don't mind if you use my line ;-)

In what sort of occasions do you meet this guy?

It would be cool of you if just went for it and didn't care about what others thought about it but I can understand if you want to be subtle and make it look as if he did the first move.

Eye contact and a smile can say a lot and be really discreet.

There are also lots of ways to make physical contact with a guy that can be hot but still discreet. A personal favorite is the "accidently" rub your t*ts against him when you just happened to be closse to him.

We see each other Thursday-Sunday just hanging out (he works out of town the rest of the week.)

I'll try to be subtle at first, but I might have to bring out the big guns later in the night. Putting oneself out there couldn't hurt, right?
