What is considered friendly touching for opposite sex friends? When does it become more flirtatious and cross the line from friendly to flirting?

This topic can write a small book :) I'll go with the anon guy who said 'friendly = pat on the head / Flirty - pat on the butt'

But again even that is debatable. Generally one will know when a touch or hug is friendly or flirty :)

A touch that is in general parlance on a 'friendly' part of your body can well be a flirty one in particular cases even ones like a pat on the back etc

lol I had this exact discussion with a guy a couple weeks ago.
Our example was that friendly touching could be a quick hand on their arm while talking but it's very quick, like a second or so, meanwhile flirty you'll leave it there longer. and rather than just remove it straight up you could slide your hand down his arm a bit before hand.
That's what him and I think anyways.
