I am so glad I don't have a deep voice. lol. My friend looks feminine but has a deep voice and she always says she thinks it turns guys off

No not at all. But it depends are we talking raspy, contralto, or like masculine deep. I've never heard a women that had like a deep male sounding voice but I absolutely adore girls with raspy voices and contralto voices. Lana Del Rey is contralto and so is Scarlett johansson. Their voices are absolutely gourgeous to me but they're considered on the lower range of female voices. Pamela Aldon (voice of Bobby Hill from king of the hill, and reoccurring character/producer on Louie) has a deeper scratcher voice but to me it's sexy. She also played a fairy in one of Disney's tinkerbell movies so clearly her voice still sounds feminine. So your friend may be getting turned down because of her voice but I garuntee their are plenty of men who are attracted to her BECAUSE of her voice. If she's young she simply hasn't met enough people yet.

It may. Guys like femininity. A deep voice may not be considered feminine, but lots of hot women had deep voices or smoky voices, like Lauren Bacall or Kathleen Turner. I don't want a voice that is too squeaky either. I know of this woman who is very hot; every time I see her, I wanna f*ck her brains out. However, the moment she talks with that high-pitched squeaky voice, her sexiness in my mind just went *poof*.

So, the bottom-line is that it is good to sound like a woman - not like a man and not like a kid.

Guys are typically attracted to high pitched voices because it psychologically tells them that she is small and feminine. Unfortunately I was cursed with a "sultry" voice even though I'm quite small. Not all of us can be lucky :P

I love a deep voice - on anyone. But not so deep on a girl that she genuinely sounds like a man. Somehow it takes me longer to take a guy with a high voice seriously.
