What the fuck is flirting?

So I want to know what flirting is. I just don't get it, some say its staring or taking you shit, can someone help me out?

Flirting well that's a simple and difficult question to answer. The answer is simple because the answer is well flirting is the physical and or vocal state in which we may communicate on a sub-romantic level with someone we are interested in courting, dating, or simply fucking the shit out of. That being said the actual action of flirting is more what i think your asking about, and all i can really say about that is well we as people all flirt in different ways sometimes its just a natural response and some times one just doesn't get it. The best thing i way i can say this is that flirting is simply greeting someone and letting ones intentions be known. weather that be threw physical action, a stance, bating of the eyes, giving an alluring smile, physical contact; it could also be vocal from how one talks to someone their in to, a laugh at a joke, a funny comment, or even just a direct conversation. For me i simply just try to be myself when talking to someone i like and if i find that i like the person for more than just superficial reasons i will ask her out. In other words i don't flirt i just talk to the person and be myself if the woman seems to be enjoying conversation and seems to want to continue communicating with me past a certain point i'll simply ask her out or ask her number. If you do the same with a guy i'm sure you'll be fine, so go be yourself strike up conversation have fun and if he is still talking to you past a predesignated time limit like i don't know five minutes to fifteen minutes any where in between there ask him out or get his number. It's not hard besides most of the time half of the battle in romance is simply introducing yourself the other forty is being yourself and communicating openly then there is the ten percent which is mainly closing in getting a persons number, or setting a date somewhere, and for some people and this isn't much my taste, but is still face closing is sex. How ever and what ever you choose my advise just be you and most of the time you'll be alright. well i hope my words have helped in some way with you concern. i have faith that you'll get it eventually just be patient and be yourself you'll do okay.

Lol thanks me and my friend were talking about flirting, cause this one guy takes my hat so as pay back ill take his and we will be taking each others hat, he has my hat over the weekend and I have his so my friend say "Its flirting." But I dont understand the concept of flirting, cause I'm really strait forward if I like someone I strait up just tell them.
