What does it mean when a girl catches you looking at her and she smiles back at you when she catches you? Does she like me? ADVICE?

She some times holds the gaze or looks back towards the front. This is in college. I've caught her looking at me when we r waiting to be given instructions or waiting to be sorted into groups for a project. Not so much on giving instructions but when we r crowded around the teacher or table I've caught her a couple of time. She doesn't do it when the teachers talking. Weve never talked to each other. She sits at a different table and I sit behind her. She sits by her friend. does she like me. Today she seemed sad. I still haven't had the nerve to talk to her. She didn't do anything today so. She didn't do it to me today but she seemed sad about something all class. I dont see her again til Tuesday.

Talk to her bro. She could just be really nice and smile when you lock eyes, or she could think you might be boyfriend material. Honestly, you really need to talk to her. Just say "Hey, what's up?" and introduce yourself. You don't have to ask her to hang out after class, or offer to get some coffee if you're nervous about dating her. Honestly, most girls would appreciate getting to know someone before dating them.

Alternatively, ask her to help you out in class, or offer to help if you see she's struggling.

She could be sad for a lot of reasons. You could say something like "Hey, you don't really know me, but I noticed you looked a little down the other day. My name is ____. I just wanted to see if there was anything I could do to help?" (That might tie in with tutoring, you never know!) At this point, there's a 95% chance she'll say she doesn't really need help, which is understandable because she doesn't know you. Then, extend to offer not just to this time, but to any time she needs help, with, "That's cool, just wanted to throw that out there. And hey, if there's ever a time you need to talk to someone, vent, let out some steam, whatever, I'd be happy to help." (Try not to say "I'm here for you" because you don't really know her, might come off as too strong.)

At this point, you really aren't looking to score 10 digits, just be friendly with her. Maybe after a while, you'll land a date with her!

Maybe she has a romantic interest in you or maybe she just wants to be your friend. I usually look insistently and often at the person I like, but that is just me. You should go and introduce yourself and maybe ask her for a date. To be less awkward, you could ask her firstly to hang with you and some of your mutual friends, and then ask her on a one to one date.

Been in your shoes before except the girl i was interested only smiled once but i finally decided to talk to her because there was starting to be an awkward tension between us. As it turned out she did like me she just didn't want to show it because i wasn't showing any signs of being interested. I definitely think she is interested, you just have to get over your approach anxiety. Just introduce yourself. Her being said has nothing to do with you. My point here is you'll never know how she feels until you ask.

If she smiled and waved, then she was happy to see you. Holding your gaze means she likes looking at you. Looking at you, she could have been checking you out, but maybe she was just zoning out. I think u should try to talk to her. Even just lean over or tap her shoulder and ask a question about the class like "hey sorry I was just zoning out what's she/he/the teacher just say?" Or something.
