Is it good for a guy to be called sweet?

I like a girl and she keeps telling me I'm so sweet? this has always been made clear that it is not a good thing for a guy to be called as he might only be considered a friend? true? or could he like me romantically?

Sweet isn't exclusive to either the friend zone or the potential relationship one.

I'd said it is always a good thing for a guy to be called sweet - but it doesn't necessarily mean a girl is, or isn't, interested in you romantically.

She could definitely like you romantically - and the fact that she vocalised some of her feelings towards you can be seen as a good sign.

But with this sign exclusively, I wouldn't read too much into it.

Look at how she acts around you - is she tactile? Does she flirt? etc...

Just take 'sweet' as the compliment as she intended - try not to read too much into it.

if a girl calls you sweet it means that she likes you on some level. it doesn't neccessarily make you fall nto either the friend or potentia relationship categories. you'll have to keep flirting and being around her to find out.

i call guys that I like sweet. if I don't like a guy than I don't call him sweet. yea, I call my guy riends sweet sometimes but msot liekely its a good thing to be called sweet. Keep flirting and ask her out!

your over analyzing it, stop following the social norms. don't wait 3 day to call, don't worry if she calls you sweet, don't expect her to say I love you first. take everything you have learned and throw it out the window of an airplane at 30,000 feet.

It depends. I've liked guys romantically and also thought they were sweet. Thinking a guy is sweet is not always a friends only thing. I have guy friends who could be considered sweet and I've also liked guys that are sweet.

Actually, I remember telling a guy that something he said was "the sweetest thing I'd ever heard" (bc it was REALLY good news about a grim issue) and he sort of grunted in response. A few months later, he told me something I did for him was "so sweet" -- which tells me he's paying attention to the words we're using over a long period of time. Stuff like that can be (1) flirtatious and/or (2) too intense for some people. It depends on the two people involved and how well they banter with each other

I call guys sweet, but I don't call the guys I like that. she might have you in the friend zone, but you never know. She might like you you.

Hmm...it is a very good thing to be called sweet by girls but it's all depends on the relationship between and you and her. If she treats you more as a friend then the sweetness will just be friendly to her...but if she likes you then the sweetness will bum you up to an extreme level that she will consider you in her life as a best friend and a guy.

Not necessarily. Girls love sweet guys. They make them feel special. Take it to the next level. Tell he that she is beautiful and special. See her reaction. You'll know.

i would say friend zone because I don't normaly call a guy sweet unless we are in a relationship already or just friends
