How can you tell if a girl is trying to make you jealous or friend zoned you?

If she's trying to make you jealous, she will give you more attention and stay engaged. If you're friend zoned, she will hardly bother with you...

Hmm okay so in my situation she's comes on super hot at first, then does hot cold - she's not as engaged as before but if I don't reach out to her she'll reach out to me and always tries to keep the conversation going with a question, but then when I answer she goes cold again, now she mentions a guy in our texts but still wants to know when I'm available

By not as engaged I mean... she doesn't text as promptly (i. e. goes cold), her responses are still fully engaged or near fully engaged though

Anyway to cut that time down? Before I just acted exactly the same way, now I withdraw a little and come back as if nothing happened and carry on where I left, regardless of what she threw at me. So when she tried to make me jealous by I just ignored what she said about the guy and carried on with trying to setup a date etc

When she around she hug or kiss or laugh about a guy to make her notice you. Like for example, your on the phone and she like so and so did this and this... he sooo cute! Unless you two are just friends than she just talk about her life.

Well she asked me when we're going on a date a couple of times (but I couldn't due to schedule - I know you can always make time, but events were completely out of my control or else I would have)
