Tingling feelings?

Question

If you don't feel anything when your boyfriend touches you...even when he kisses you could you ever with time grow that feeling? When I went out with other men before said boyfriend I have felt this tingling feeling when they touched me. Am I over thinking it? I have been with my boyfriend over a year and half

There could be a lot of reasons for this. One is that you went out with other men for the thrill of going out with other men ( meaning that the relationship wasn't about "love" per-say ) and now you're settling for a different set of feelings and emotions. Another is that perhaps he just lacks the textures and touches, and needs to learn your body or you need to accept him for what he is, etc. A third still, you're just not feeling the connectivity or wildness that you felt with others or you've changed mentalities.

Really, "who is to say?" is the answer particularly because it requires you to know yourself and we need more information about previous relationships and how they went and how your current boyfriend is different from the others, if he is, or whether you're stressed or find him attractive emotionally, mentally, and physically.

It could even be that you expect more from him and he's not meeting your needs so you're not responding in kind.

So, in turn, you don't like him physically; well that might be why. Feelings of repulsion can do that. Tell him.

If you do tell him be prepared for what will come. You may or may not "with time" come to accept it.

wel you cnt b with sum1 ur not attrcted to .. I know that tingling feeling, and it's absolutely needed! If you don't feel it, than I highly doubt that it'll ever be there. You can't sacrifice yourself just not to hurt someone else's feelings. Go with your gut. If you don't feel it, and you clearly don't, than you're not in love, in lust, or infatuated, and you need ad least one of those things to be in any kind of a relationship that holds a romantic feature to it.

It's just how I see it.

It's crucial to have it... I can't see a relationship that is functioning properly and not having this tingly feeling. Even if it's sometimes...but never...that's something else entirely.

It sounds like the lack of chemistry isn't the only problem here.  From what you're saying about the things he says to you, I don't understand why you are still together.
