Asking a guy to go out for breakfast?

I need to know how should I ask a guy if he wants to go to breakfast? what exactly do I say, I don't want to come off in a bad way. I don't know him to well, I have only talked a few words to him a couple of times and I am not sure if he is interested or not. Though I always look at him and I have seen him looking at me! How do I approach him and what do I say?

anybody have suggestions? please help. and I am really shy so I want it to come out the right way. I have never done this before, I am so nervous and afraid he will say no. thanks

continued from what I was saying (ran out of characters bellow) ... even talking to him and getting to know him will give you more confidence around him when it comes to actually asking him out. Just make sure you don't leave it too long, after a few months it is easy to fall into the friend trap. If I was you I would meet up as friends a few times and then say how much you like him and spending time with him, and want to see if it could be something more.

Just start up a little conversation, let it go on for a while bring up the subject of you wanting to go out for breakfast someday soon and then ask him the worst he can do is say no and if he does pass it off as you asking him out as friends.

Its kind of hard to talk to him though, we are both working and he is rarely alone always with a friend, how should I approach him? and I am very shy and don't want to embarrass myself. would it be better if I asked him if he would want to go out for a drink would that be better? and how do I pass it off as going out as friends if he says no? thanks

Mmmh a bit of a problem. If you work with him try and meet up at lunch or something, put yourself in his way whenever possible and try and make small talk with him and possibly his friends. As for passing it of as going out as friends if he says no, say oh well maybe next time and that it looks like it will be just you and someone else. Pick a close friend who will back you up on it. After all it can't be a date if there are more than two of you

He is working a different shift than me so I can't really meet up with him at lunch. I do try to (be in his way) and always say hi or how you doing. I should ask him when he is alone right, not with his friend? I am really shy and this is new for me and I don't want to embarrass myself or say something stupid.

Try and ask if you can talk to him then, forget the small talk and come straight out with it. Believe me he will be flattered that you asked. I know that takes a lot of guts so if you really don't feel like you can do it try and get to know him as mates first. If he is with his friends go up to all of them and ask them as a group if they would like to go out for a drink with you and some of your friends as you are going after work. After spending some time causually with him even with his mates

I am going to try and ask him if he wants to go out for a drink sometime , I hope he is alone when I do. so wish me luck. I have the courage now to do it and have for a little while now but I just haven't had the chance to cause I haven't seen him alone, so I hope he is still there he will be leaving but I don't know exactly when yet, I have asked but he didn't know either.
