Humiliated in front of my crush?

Last night, I went to the movies with some friends to see The Crazies (great horror flick btw). I was with Cedric, Michael, and some other people. my friend Michael is really crazy/outgoing, you have no idea. During the movie, Cedric was sitting to my left and Michael was 2 seats over my right. When he looked at me and Cedric, he started joking about us 'trying to make out' and stuff. he also said things like 'oh do you guys need some chap stick?' me and Cedric were just laughing for the sake of it, cause we're only friends. I was getting a little p*ssed off about it though. After the movie finished, we went outside to wait for the other guys.

Suddenly, I turn around and I see my crush coming out of the theater with his friend, and of course, Michael started talking to them. Me and Cedric followed. They all just started talking about the movie. I talked to my crush, I mean I was basically standing next to him so what else could I do right? It was awkward we just said how great the movie was or whatever.. and wouldn’t you know, Michael started telling my crush and his friend about me and Cedric ‘ trying to make out’ in the movie. He also told them about the chap stick thing. I felt so embarrassed =/ Michael made it sound like me and Cedric had a thing or whatever. I just stood there, faking a smile and feeling hurt. I tried to tell my crush not to listen to Michael and he was just like smiling. you guys have no idea how much I just wanted to get away from everything >..<

what do you guys think? any advice? thank you for reading.

id say to just get over it lol...embarrassing things are bound to happen in front of crushes. I mean if he laughed about it, it probably means he just thought it was funny (especially a joke coming from a crazy/outgoing friend) and didn't really think much of it. If he does wanna pursue something with you he'll overlook this..

Just let it go..I know guys like Michael and it can be very annoying. just try maybe to step away from him and for the next few days, don't be too friendly with the guys, except maybe for your crush lol I'm pretty sure he knows that Michael was joking.

well id say that your friends can do worster things..and to me, this is something that I can just laugh it off with them...
