Does my boss have a crush on me? I recently have been going through a divorce and when my boss found out, I noticed his behavior towards me changed slightly. He texted me at 10pm asking me what ended the marriage and did my family support my marriage or not and asked how old he is. He had never asked me personal questions until that point. I notice him looking at me a lot and attentively listening to everything I say even when I'm not talking to him. He keeps asking me if I live with my ex husband still and when I'm moving out. I get a feeling he might be cautiously interested in me but it's hard for me to read. From a mans perspective do these questions sound mainly out of curiousity or do they sound like he might be interested in making a move on me?

he sounds like a creepy fucker. That kind of stuff should be talked about face to face, your missing out on 55% of what he is saying due to a lack of body language for you to read (women are shown to need this part of the conversation more than men), and this is why you are here asking us for advise.

He wants to make a move, of that I have no doubt. You know him better than me, if he is a little shy then the texting it is acceptable, but not ideal. Do you like him? If so, see where it goes, don't shut the door on him, and be aware that if someone else starts to hit on you, he will be hurt (not that you caused it, but if you think he is a nice guy, maybe that is when you decide to give him a hint to get his ass in gear).

Yes, he is interested.

You need to be careful here. You must do one of two things immediately.

Either tell him him, "Yes, I am interested in you too. How do we do this?" or "I appreciate your concern, but I wish for us to maintain a professional relationship, and if you make any more inquiries into my personal life or contact me when I am off the clock, I will file a harassment complaint."

I am interested in him. However, he has never said to me that he is interested in me so I cannot confront him about it yet.

You need to confront him, because you are playing with legal fire.

If you are the subordinate, you are the one that has to say something so that you make it clear that it is not sexual harassment. If he says something, he could get fired and his employer can get sued.

The worst that can happen to you is that you leave your job under a cloud with burned bridges behind you. The worst that can happen to him is no one will ever hire him again.

I would go one step further and put it in writing: "I am interested in and am initiating a personal relationship with ____. All personal interaction between the two of us is agreeable to me until and unless I notify in writing that such interaction is to henceforth cease." Then sign it and hand it to him. That will break the ice and relieve him of tremendous stress.

That sounds silly and unromantic, but that protects him, as long as the company's policy allows office romance (most do, but they sometimes have reports to be filled out).

From a Wise Owl's point of View... He is definitely Into You.
Although many times it is Hard to be in a Relationship or even Date, anyone from Where one Works. However, maybe it can Work better if some Rules and Regulations are Worked out on the Job Site.
