What does this body language of his mean?

So this guy i know is really sweet and is really friendly. But the other day I was with him and a group of friends at dinner. He was sitting one chair away from me when he put his hand out like he wanted a highfive so I was thinking uh okay this is weird but anyway, I gave him like a soft highfive but then as I slid my hand away, he grabbed it and tried to hold it for a few seconds until I took my hand away. I would have left my hand there had I'd known he actually wanted to hold it and didn't want a highfive lol.. why do you think he did that? Also, he did this when I was sitting and he came up behind me and put his hands on my shoulders and then rested his chin on the top of my head and he stayed like that for a like 6 or 7 seconds. Why do you think he did that as well? What does it mean? I think he likes me but he is a little flirty with other girls too but i ve never seen him do anything like what he did to me to other girls. What do you guys think? Why would a guy do this? Do you think he likes me?

It means he likes you and has no idea how to flirt or be subtle. He tried to break the touch barrier with you all in one night. It sounds like he is really inexperienced with women. I did the same thing only I take a few weeks to try and get through the touch barrier. Regrettably with this new girl I want to date I accidentally kicked her in the pool and on another day I accidentally bumped into her shoulder while I was spacing out and walking through the others. Sadly I think that was the night that she relalized that I have been flirting with her. So she probably won't like me back.
However apart from this guy I also take a while not only to break the touch barrier but to warm her up by being a gentleman and flirting with her. Your guy tried to show he likes you by touch only and he went from 0 to 100.
It could also mean that he was showing off how close he was to you for her guy freinds.

Body contact is always a pretty clear sign for interest. At least I wouldn't go around and rest on some girls heads. But it is always better to ask, and check. If he says he doesn't like you, just tell him to stop that stuff because it is confusing.
