This girl somehow found out I like her, and now she ignores me. What should I do?

This actually happened quite a long time, around 2008 Easter, but only now have I actually realized I am more attached to her than I thought.

We were in a camp thing, and somehow we got to know each other, and we were friends for the first 4 days of the 6 day camp. However, the last 2 days, she completely ignored me, and from her friends I learned that she knew I liked her and was hitting on her. How? I don't know, I didn't tell anyone, not even my best friends, but maybe I was too obvious.

We didn't talk to each other much, other than Yes No answers to questions to prevent from being rude, but other than that, we didn't speak much.

Now, 2 years from that case, I found out I was always thinking of her this whole time, and I'd like to start chatting with her again. I went on Facebook and was about to say "hi", but then stopped as I didn't know if she would ignore me/forget who I was/tell her friends "that 'that guy' is back" or something like that

I don't know how I should handle this, if I don't do anything, I know I won't feel good about myself, but I don't know how to approach her.

Either Leave her alone or message her and say Hi but just once, if she doesn't answer she prob doesn't share those feelings back and just doesn't know how to handle the situation. Find another girl.

This has happened to me I tried to explain to the guy I didn't like him back but then afterwards he still wouldn't stop messaging me and whatever. It got awkward.

just find another girl..im sure you will be happy..

I don't know..I'm not exactly the type with the skills, find it hard to talk to girls, always get nervous, try to hard to be funny ,etc.

Furthermore, I really like this girl >.<

Depends on how much you want her, she may have moved on in a relationship etc, try and if you fail at least you will know and won't have to think about it move on..
