Why do guys flirt with their female friends?

Is that even a question?
Physical attraction causes people to flirt, sometimes not even consciousely. If a guy is single, he'll take what ever chance he gets.
If he is in a relationship, not all too considerate and slave to his primal instincts, or simply a douchebag, he'll continue to do so even then.
But the same applies to girls.
If you want to know why the do so, even though they are "just friends",
the internet is full of explanations, why guys can never be just friends with a girl. Look it up, if you haven't came across that all ready.

😆😏 why I flirt... .. not a person who flirts with all girls here you might have seen me talk to particular individual more where in some cases I give a opinion and a bye with it , ..😂 so most probably I want to know whether we can be something more then friends... if she agrees I will definitely go for more , else what can I do... , (she lost someone good , will feel upset and who knows if I feel something deep will even cry ) but definitely one day get over it and make a better girlfriend...😳😢..

At times it's not even flirting more like you are one of the guys but with boobs. So they may view you as a friend but the mind thinks female equals flirt in psychology. At other times it can be that he has grown feelings for the female in question.
