Does it mean anything if a guy keeps your number after you stop talking?

If you haven't spoken in over a year, spoke on the phone once(I never kept his number) and he asks for your number out of the blue because he lost it, does that mean anything? Or am I just over thinking it? He had told me before he didn't like me, but why keep the phone number of a person you don't like and never talk to, let alone ask for it again?

Once I put a number in my phone I don't delete it. I don't bother going through the trouble and taking the time to delete people. It doesn't mean anything. He just left your number in his phone.
